Need onsite coordinator, for QA teams who are creating new QTP scripts for
four separate projects. This coordinator role would need to be* QTP
certified and be able to create a QTP best practices document* for the teams
to follow so that we don’t end up with four very different approaches to
automation. This person would also guide the teams to coordinate any
duplication of effort – mainly in the area of the creation of libraries. We
are also interested in “descriptive programming” techniques with QTP and
help in best practices in this area. Please let me know if you have any
questions or comments.”

Carefully studying project activities in his 4 different projects,
understanding the overall scope of the program (combination of projects)

*Writing a mini ‘Automation Strategy’ for QTP automation*

Recommending best practices such as *optimizing data driven tests, enhancing
test coverage with checkpoints, writing custom checkpoints, avoiding false
alarms in scripts e.g. object recog. Problems etc*

Building a reusable library for establishing a common ground

Monitoring the projects through coordination (kind of Project management,
but at a high level) with the 4 teams

and then usual OOP best practices such as shared repository, reporting,
recovery scenarios

Thanks & Regards,
