Location – Fremont CA Duration – 6 months Role – Test Engineer/Storage Domain - BSEE/CE/CS or equivalent with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. - Working knowledge of basic system and storage administration tasks in UNIX and MS Windows operating systems. - Experience working with an external RAID Storage Subsystem and Host clustering such as Microsoft Cluster. - Good working knowledge of storage related issues (e.g., data protection, write cache, performance). - Programming experience in one or more of the following: Windows Scripting, Perl to automate application testing. - Experience in one or more of the following: Installation, configuration and testing of applications such as MS Exchange, MS SQL Server. - Working knowledge of at least one test harness environment. - Experience with load testing and performance/scalability testing with above mentioned applications will be a plus. - Strong written and oral communication skills with good attention to detail. - Good time management, including the ability to work independently, to reprioritize tasks, and to deliver projects on time. A team player willing to contribute in various ways to get the jobs done.
