Rate-* Open * Responsibilities Primary responsibilities are: 1. Design and development of custom solutions for Oracle Financials, HRMS, and Payroll modules 2. Design and development of highly scalable web applications for billing and financial needs 3. Provide technical support for Oracle Applications (Financials, HRMS and Payroll), Web Applications built by Pitney Bowes, and In-house web applications built using J2EE technology 4. Work closely with Enterprise Architecture group to make sure that architecture is in alignment with enterprise architecture , and technology roadmap 5. Maintains working relationship with business users to understand and refine requirements 6. Mentor junior developers 7. Experience with SDLC *Skills* - Strong software architecture, design and hands-on development skills using different design patterns - Hands on development experience in Oracle Applications Framework, ADF, SQL, PL/SQL, Forms6i, Reports6i, Discoverer10G, SOA, BPEL, Java and web development - Experience in performance tuning of Web applications and SQL queries - Experience in Oracle Applications Object Library, Oracle Financials data model, APIs, Interface programs and System Administration tasks - Experience in conversions, interfaces and building custom functionality for Oracle Financials - Functional and technical knowledge of Oracle eBusiness suite 11i/R12 modules including the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable *, *Oracle Projects, Purchasing, Fixed Assets, iProcurement, Oracle HRMS and Payroll ** - Strong experience with Oracle Middleware and Service Oriented Architecture - Strong experience with Web-tier development using technologies such as JSPs, Servlets, JSF, JSTL, JMS, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, Struts. - Experience with Spring and/or other IOC containers and persistence-layer development using EJBs or Hibernate. - Working knowledge of XML, XSLT. - Proven ability to deliver high-quality, tested software on time. - Experience in Web Services development using Axis or similar technologies and Service Oriented Architecture. - Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit. - Ability to effectively apply Design Patterns (J2EE). - Experience with J2EE Application Servers such as JBoss, Oracle Application Server and Oracle database - Well versed with agile development principles and practices. - Knowledge of Financial business domain is a plus - Experience with integrating external web applications with Oracle Financials - The individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, collaborate with others and be a highly contributing member of an agile team. Ability to effectively communicate technical, business, and design information; Have the ability to rapidly learn and incorporate new technologies into his/her skill set. General requirements 1. Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 2. 10-12 years of experience in Oracle Applications (Finance and HRMS) development, and Java/J2EE 3. Customization development experience with Oracle 11i, R12, and Fusion technologies 4. Good written and verbal communication skills 5.
