*Job Description for Cisco Consultant * * * Location: Brooklyn, NY – office is right across from a subway station. Rate: Best Rate Duration: *18 Months* * * We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in Cisco Content Distribution Networks and IP Networks to assist in deploying a next generation city wide content access solution that will integrate with existing and new customer applications. The Infrastructure Specialist must be a self starter and be able to take initiative to lead in developing and implementing a solution under time constraints. The individual will be working in a team environment and must function as a team contributor to assist with team responsibilities as needed to deliver an end to end solution. The individual will be responsible for the following: Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Content Networking specialist § Assist with designing Enterprise Content Delivery Network § Conduct market research to identify key vendors § Define, establish and manage CDN architecture standards § Create and update deployment templates § Take direction to deploy configurations and conduct analyses as needed § Support to deploy and maintain Cisco Content Engines § Support to deploy and maintain Cisco Content Distribution Manager § Support to deploy and maintain ACNS Software § Create and document System and Functional Test Plan § Assist with deployment and configuration of network hardware and protocols including EIGRP and BGP § Assist with day to day team responsibilities including support of ongoing projects, issue tracking and project progress tracking *Required Skills* Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of enterprise network infrastructure configuration and implementation experience. At least 3+ years as Content Delivery Network specialist. Experience working with Cisco Content Delivery Network is a plus.
