The candidate will be responsible for design, development, unit-testing, and deployment of these applications throughout the full project life cycle primarily using RAD IDE 7.0 and WebSphere Application Server 6.1. *Qualifications * · 7+ years of experience. · Excellent technical and analytical skills. · Excellent communication and influence skills. · Knowledgeable and comfortable working in an Agile Environment. · Proven track record of delivering results. · Broad range of experiences and understanding with web/internet technologies. · Pragmatic approach to developing and maintaining Application Frameworks. · Experience with multiple technologies and design techniques. · Experience integrating disparate systems within large technology environments. · Experience re-platforming/migrating Legacy Applications. · In-depth knowledge and experience with Spring Framework. · In-depth knowledge and experience with Maven and Continuous Integration Systems. *Required:** * · Java/J2EE · Servlets/JSP · Spring · Spring MVC · Apache Tiles · iBatis · Maven · Subversion · Apache Tomcat · RAD IDE 7.0 · WebSphere Application Server 6.1 · DB2 · Oracle *Preferred:** * · Experience migrating legacy applications from WebSphere to Tomcat. · Experience migrating legacy applications to Maven. · Experience with IBM JAX-RPC Web Services. · In-depth knowledge of RAD/Eclipse.
