The Testing Lead is responsible for the delivery of test planning and
execution support for the global team. The individual will interface with
the TMO (Test Management Office) Manager, process workstreams, project
development teams, Quality/Validation/Compliance team, and internal and
external service providers to assist in the planning and management of the
program's test activities. In addition, the individual will ensure ongoing
communication of the global team's test status and will be required to
report progress to goals, identify key risks and mitigation strategies. In
this position, he or she will ensure testing services are delivered in
compliance with program methods, tools and validation requirements, operate
within established service level agreements, and complete other duties as
needed or assigned.
Key Activities include but not limited to:

- Creation of testing sub-plans in support of global team test
activities
- Development of test scenarios and support for their execution
- Defect management, issue tracking and communication
- Business metric and KPI definition
- Reporting of global team test status and outlook to TMO manager and
program
- Leading test planning and execution meetings
Additionally, will assist with:
·
- Creation of program test plans and specifications
- Performance measures and deliverables
- Coordination of test preparation activities
- Development of training materials and delivery of end-user training
- Development of SOPs in support of the program
- Support of automated testing development and execution, including
regression scope for future releases
Qualifications
Education:
·
- Bachelors degree required
Required:
·
- A minimum of eight (8) years relevant IT work experience.
- Experience in Test planning and execution
- SAP application experience
- Broad, comprehensive understanding of testing processes.
- Ability to understand and actively support a long term vision and
implement incremental milestones in support of that vision.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives within a
matrixed organization and building effective cross-functional
relationships.
- Demonstrated skills in the area of future state test process design,
preferably in a global environment.
- Knowledge of SAP including best practices for test documentation and
approach.
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Individual contribution is a requirement of this role.
Preferred:
·
- SAP testing experience is highly desirable
- Experience with Quality Center toolset and working in validated
pharmaceutical environments is highly desirable.
