*Sr. SAP PI Functional Consultants* *Location: Frisco,TX* *Duration: 1 yr. * *Rate : $60/HR* "Position Summary: Sr. SAP PI Functional Consultants are responsible for the design, planning, delivery and enhancement of functional SAP solutions using SAP business configuration technologies. They generally work in a project environment, configuring the SAP application modules and pre-defined T-Systems templates or extending core SAP functionality to meet customer specific requirements. They design / develop solution alternatives and evaluate their impact on the overall project or system environment from a functional as well as economic perspective. Incumbents collaborate closely with Technical SAP Consultants, customers (functional and IT), T-Systems Business Units, and other stakeholders to identify user requirement and recommend solution options according to the customer’s activities. "Responsibilities: * Act as business analysis and as a process redesign expert in one or more functional areas (finance, accounting, sales, etc.) within the enterprise, specifically in the analysis, and redesign, of SAP functions and processes * Communicate SAP capabilities/possibilities within multiple functional areas * Lead customization of SAP functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design * Formulate and define application scope and objectives and devise/modify procedures to solve business problems * Use expert knowledge of production operations and business processes, in directing the delivery of the recommended solution * Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other areas to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts * Lead large projects and regularly coach other project personnel to ensure business application systems are developed in away that complies with functional architecture standards and established methodologies and best practices * Proactively manage customers expectations and relationship to meet/exceed expected customer service levels * Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions *Skills and Experience: * Good knowledge on PI monitoring (RWB,SXMB_moni), debugging errors in PI. Knowledge on Adapters : File(FCC,FTP,NFS) ,Proxy(ABAP),SOAP,EDI-seeburger X12,HTTP,JDBC,IDOC,RFC. Knowledge on BPM (patterns:collect, multicast, sync asyn), graphical mapping , writing UDF’s, context handling. XSLT, Java preferred. Good to have experience in PI administration , proxy configuration , IDOC monitoring, SLD configuration , queue administration . Knowledge on EDI standards 810,850,855,860,856. Good knowledge on IDOC mapping with X12 using context handling . Experience on seeburger workbench , SFTP adapter. Should be able to identify and fix the production errors ASAP . Message spliter configuration in seeburger. Knowledge on Archiving setup in PI . Should have good understanding of ESOA , ESR (WSDL,Port config,exposing PI interfaces). Knowledge on NWA. Knowledge in ABAP is good .
