*Job Description:*
One of my clients in RI is looking for a Senior Business and Reporting
Analyst for a 6+ month contract.  This candidate will be responsible to
identify, define and document all reporting related business requirements
and lead the effort to translate them into project documents (i.e. Business
Requirements Documents (BRDs) and other SDLC artifacts as required to ensure
adherence to both internal and external SDLC compliance).  This candidate
will work collaboratively with the Reporting Workstream Business Sponsor,
Project Manager, Key Servicing Workstream members, Originations Workstream
members, Key functional business stake holders, and third party venders.
This candidate will identify and manage to the major project
interdependencies, track and resolve issues and manage all reporting
requirement deliverables.  This requires the individual to aggressively seek
out material issues impacting the reporting requirements Workstream and
quickly resolve the issues to ensure timelines and functionality
expectations are met. This candidate will clearly communicate individual
status on a regular basis, monitor and manage Reporting Workstream risk
throughout the respective project phases

   - Facilitate and drive the process to ensure the target reporting
      solution meets the requirements of the line of business related to the
      implementation of a new Commercial Lending Originations and servicing
      software platform
      - Work with the line of business and vendor to identify and capture
      all reporting requirements
      - Working with the line of business to finalize the detailed reporting
      inventory, data element inventory and a full derived or
calculated measures
      inventory
      - Work with the line of business and vendor to facilitate a gap
      analysis of reporting requirements against the tools the vendor
is providing
      as part of the program
      - Work with the line of business and vendor to assess which reporting
      requirements should be handled by the vendor versus requirements
that should
      be handled by our client’s reporting solution
      - Work with the line of business and vendor to ensure data being
      provided in the vendor extract will satisfy the reporting requirements
      - Work with the line of business, Reporting Workstream PM and
      technology to identify potential solutions for meeting the reporting
      requirements not being handled by vendor tools (Additional Servicing,
      Originations, Middle office and Front Office requirements)
      - Work with the technology organization and Reporting Workstream PM to
      ensure a reporting solution is designed that will meet the reporting
      requirements not being handled by vendor tools
      - Work with technology organization and Reporting Workstream PM to
      incorporate technology related tech design, build and test activities
      related to the reporting requirements not being handled by the vendor
      - Work with technology organization and Reporting Workstream PM to
      confirm estimates for satisfying the reporting requirements not being
      handled by the vendor
      - The business analyst in collaboration with the Reporting Workstream
      PM will be expected to follow our standardized Project Lifecycle
and prepare
      or coordinate the preparation of the business requirements
document (BRD),
      request for proposals (RFP), business process documentation
including inputs
      and outputs, project success metrics and management presentations
      - The individual will also act as a liaison between the business and
      technology groups to ensure business project needs are met.  This is in
      addition to coordinating and facilitating project activities with the
      subject matter experts and project manager
      - Perform data/systems analysis and develop reporting and technical
      specifications for one or multiple applications/data sources of varying
      complexity
      - Produce required analysis-related deliverables, including: reporting
      and technical specifications, data models/maps, use cases,
mock-up screens,
      report layouts, impact analysis and others

*Technical Knowledge:*

   - The role requires a strong ability to execute the project deliverables
      including tactical details to achieve strategic objectives
      - 5-7 years of business analysis experience within a project lifecycle
      with hands-on experience collaborating and working directly with business
      users
      - Knowledge of financial services industry including commercial
      lending, underwriting, originations, loan structuring, booking and
      compliance, credit risk analytics and bank products preferred
      - BS/BA degree required
      - Experience in financial services reporting, analysis design
      - Excellent written and oral communication skills with sound
      - Broad understanding of related BI and Data Warehouse technologies
      highly desired
      - Working knowledge and understanding of  the BI tool capabilities
      like, Oracle BI OBIEE Analytics experience, including experience building
      Analytic Reports and Dashboard design
      - Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability
      to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with
technical
      and non-technical teams
      - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      - Strong customer service/team orientation, promoting a collaborative
      team environment
