*Description Job Description:*

   - The desired candidate will be responsible for *design, development,
   testing, maintenance* and *support of complex data extract*, *
   transformation* and *load (ETL) programs* for an Enterprise Data
   Warehouse using *Informatica** Power Center** 9.0*.
   - The successful candidate will have the ability to take the *logical
   dimensional data model* and use *ETL skills* to load the dimensional
   physical layer from various sources including *DB2 on z/OS*, *Sql Server,
   Oracle, MS Access*, etc.
   - An understanding of how complex data should be transformed from the
   source and loaded into the data warehouse is a critical part of this job.



*Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:*

   - Collaborate with business users to capture & define business
   requirements and contribute to defining the data warehouse architecture
   (data models, data analysis, data sourcing and data integrity).
   - Analyzing source data for potential data quality issues and addressing
   these issues in ETL procedures.
   - Develop technical design documents and mappings specifications to build
   Informatica Mappings to load data into target tables adhering to the
   business rules.
   - Design, develop and organize complex Informatica mappings, sessions and
   workflows.
   - Provide support for existing systems and work on new development
   initiatives simultaneously.
   - Actively participate in design and analysis sessions to ensure sound
   team decision-making
   - Support system and user acceptance testing activities, including issue
   resolution.
   - Complete technical documentation to ensure system is fully documented
   - Mentor and train IT staff by sharing knowledge, best practices and
   lessons learned from past implementation efforts



 *Required Qualifications:*

   - 5+ years experience working with Informatica Power Center
   - Ability to design and develop complex Informatica mappings, sessions,
   workflows and identify areas of optimizations
   - Ability to design logical and multi-dimensional data models
   - Experience with Oracle RDBMS 10g or 11g
   - Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to
   work effectively in a team environment  are required
   - A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or seven to 10
   years of IT related experience.
   - Proven ability and desire to mentor/coach others in a team environment
   - Strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.



*Desired Qualifications:*

   - Working knowledge with Informatica Change Data Capture installed on DB2
   z/OS
   - Working knowledge of Informatica Power Exchange
   - Experience with relational, multidimensional and OLAP techniques and
   technology.

Experience with OBIEE tools version 10.X
