*Position: Sr. SAS **Clinical Programmer (must have 8+ years exp)*** *Location:* Thousand Oaks, CA* Duration:* 11 months* Rate:* $40-45/hr all inclusive (Max)* Responsibilities:* *SAS Programmer designated to work with a team of programmer/analysts that report on clinical trial operational data, not patient data, and includes ensuring time lines and quality standards are met. Programming includes, but is not limited to, the data manipulation, summation, formatting and reporting of clinical studies. Programmer will run existing SAS programs on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis and create new SAS programs as needed. SAS programs will use Windows DDE to create reports in Excel workbooks with individual format requirements. Specifically, use PC SAS to extract data from Oracle tables using an ODBC connection running under Windows Vista and SAS version 9.1. Skills: strong knowledge of SAS software and ability to write SAS code in clean, understandable manner with experience working with large datasets.
