This individual will act as an expert in data architecture design for departmental data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. *Job Responsibilities:* · Oversee and design the information architecture for the data warehouse, including all information structures, the development of the conceptual, logical, and physical database models, the standardization of data definitions, development and maintenance of metadata, and adherence to company wide data and database standards and policies. · Work with the application development teams, business users, management, and database administration resources to plan, design, and implement data architecture solutions for business initiatives. *Qualifications:* * * · Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience in IT with 5 years as a Data Architect. · 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, establishing standards and polices for information asset classes, and collaboration with application teams to inventory and classify existing information assets. · 3+ years of experience leading large data warehouse architecture implementations in Teradata. · 3+ years of experience working with Erwin. · 3+ years of experience with very large data repositories (10+ terabytes). · Strong written communication skills. - Experience communicating information and ideas to varying audiences.
