Hands on experience with SOAPUI a must --Functional experience with XML --Functional experience with JSON --Functional experience with QTP/ALM 11 --Functional experience with BPT RESPONSIBILITIES: • Utilize requirements, design documents, and test plans to write and execute test cases. Exploratory and ad hoc testing are required. • Confer with Product Strategy, Analysis, and Development to identify appropriate plan for issue resolution when requirements are incomplete. • Validate data through both the front end application UI and the backend database. • Troubleshoot and submit defects via the ClearQuest & Rally defect tracking tools. • Escalate blocking issues to Project Lead or Management. • Report status, track time, and log test cases executed. REQUIRED SKILLS: • 6+ years manual and 3+ years web based automation testing experience • 2+ years’ experience with Web Service Testing (SOAP & Restful services and JSON) • Must have experience building custom JSON requests. • Experience working with SoapUI • Must be able to explain the differences between XML and JSON • Solid experience with QTP/AML Automation • Strong experience with frontend data validation and writing SQL queries (selects, joins, etc) • Must have 2+ years’ experience utilizing Agile methodology • Back-end testing experience • Experience with BPT process • Experience with VB scripting • Experience with Groovy scripting • Infrastructure testing and Integrated testing experience • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS: - Testing experience with Human Capital Management, Employment Benefit systems, Payroll and HR systems - Experience using Rally - JavaScript development experience - Experience using Selenium Ramesh sram...@sophlogic.com -- -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
