Hi Darragh, I'm the one at WAND who maintains the openvswitch packages in our repo, and I spent some time this week working on packaging openvswitch 2.7 with DPDK for Debian and Ubuntu.
If you would like to package your own, you can use Ubuntu's packaging of openvswitch which includes openvswitch-switch-dpdk packages up to version 2.6.1: https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-server-dev/ubuntu/+source/openvswitch/+git/openvswitch Otherwise you can use my openvswitch 2.7.0 packages which use the Ubuntu packaging that I have forward-ported to building 2.7.0 (instead of 2.6.1).
