Hello ALL.., I represent a reputed company from the Middle East which has been in the VOIP business for several years now. We are planning to open a Support and Development Office in Malaysia/KL.
If you have a strong enthusiasm about open source, ready to work in a challenging environment and grow to become a voip expert, then this for you. Qualifications required: 1- Attitude: • Dedicated, hard working, serious about achieving the goal and meeting the deadline. • Neat, organized, and well documented. • Smart problem solver who strives to find and/or tailor the solution. • An excellent team player, able to work under pressure. • Professional reporting capabilities. • Quick learner able to easily pick up new aspects. 2-Technical: • A professional degree (Postgraduate, bachelor, diploma..etc ) in Engineering, communications, computer science or IT. • 1-3 years of experience in (one or more of ): o developing client applicaitons for PC and hand held devices (symbian, windows mobile, Android.. etc) preferably C/C++ o Developing applications for SIP protocol (preferably pjlib) o Installing, configuring, mainting and troubleshooting popular open source voip servers (Asterisk, Freeswitch, SER…etc). o Working with billing voip calls and functionalities. o Web development (HTML, CSS, PHP, JS, VBS, Flash..etc) with the ability to integrate and use ready made libraries, web interfaces and toolkits (cake php, smarty, jQuery, modx … etc) o Server administration, and security. LAMP environment is required, knowledge in Windows environment is a plus. • Good English skills (Reading and writing). In this regard, you will be working in one or more of the following : • Installation, configuration and billing for voip based engines and gateways. • Developing new functionalities and features to voip based systems • Developing voip clients for PC and Hand held devices • Developing web sites and user/admin portals • Arranging backup and monitoring to running servers • Working on tailoring a scallable, highly available, P2P system.
