Our wiring spec is based on the 1WRJ45 standard that is posted on www.1wire.org with the only difference being that we changed the voltage allowed on pin 7 because our Barometer requires at least +14v so the +12v in the standard wasn't enough. All of the other pins and voltages are the same.
BTW I agree with what David wrote and as always he did a much much better job of explaining than I did. Actually David I believe your right. And as far as I am concerned with wiring this business goes, I appreciate your advice. And will endeavour to comply. Since I do not even have the first node wired, it is a simple matter to create a new run just for the 1Wire setup, and indeed use the 1WRJ45 wiring standard that I have already downloaded from your most excellent site. I will need to completely revue your wiring standard to best understand what to use and how. I picked a pair as suggested by the HobbyBoards people, but I suspect its not the same as the ones your standard would be picking. And thank you again for your help. By the way, I am offering free invites to Google Mail for everyone who has helped me. Kurt you already have one so I'm going to wish you well this week instead. -- Gregg C Levine [EMAIL PROTECTED] "This signature was once found posting rude messages in English in the Moscow subway." ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
