And - Yes I followed the instructions on your page! And I
think it is quite clear what to do. Only thing, I did not
"run-owfs" with the adaptor in the slug's usb port. Just ran the command,
checked if the process was started and then
rebooted...
You can post my note, no problem! I would be glad if
someone could show me my error!
I have:
1. Bought the slug :)
2. DE-UNDERCLOCKED it! - but this should not be a
problem?!
3. Installed Unslung 6.8 via the
Webinterface
4. Unslung it
5. Installed SSHD / OPENVPN / BASH and some other
tools
6. Installed OWFS via your package - I have found it on
the website just this day!
7. Got disappointed
again...
8. Installed ftdilib because I remembered about a HOWTO
about this being a workaround

The installation of owfs via ipkg was painless and I even bought a new USB
adaptor (DS9490R) because I believed it would have better support than the
ECLO and would be 100% compatible with DS9490.
Now I just cannot get neither of the adaptors to work. Looking at the
systems's message I am told that the device "is not claimed by any driver".
Is it possible that the missing drivers can only be installed under
OpenSlug? For THAT one exists a kernel module...
Do you know anyone out there who has done it and would be able to help me? I
have searched the web but did not find any hint - at least none I could
understand.
It would be nice if you could send a short mail - even if you have no time
or idea how to get around my problem!
