Hello all, Effective immediately, messages from list subscribers that are held by list management software will be rejected. Most frequent cause for this is a message that is too big. Default limit is 50K, which is more than enough for a message, unless it gets top-posted indefinitely without clipping. Let me refer the participants to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top-posting#Netiquette_Guidelines and, to emphasize, include a quotation: When replying to a message, include enough original material to be understood but no more. It is extremely bad form to simply reply to a message by including all the previous message: edit out all the irrelevant material. If you need something big to be posted to the list, you may a) think twice b) ask the list administrator to approve the message. If your message is being held, you will get the autogenerated notice about it, so don't worry about being accidentally gagged. --vt |
