I think that  a mechanical Relay Output would better suited for my purpose
than a solid state relay.

I would like to be able to switch full 230V/16A european mains supply
without an additional fuse added thus a solid state relay solution would
require the installation of a very big heat sink.

All I need is a suggestion for some working PNP transistor circuit.
