Puredata looks interesting -- supposedly focussed on music, but I presume
real-time data would also be appropriate.
There is a HOWTO on extensions at
http://iem.kug.ac.at/pd/externals-HOWTO/node1.html
No native network function in puredata, but you are supposed to be able to
incorporate C language extensions easily. It would be easy to embed OWFS
into puredata using owcapi, or just communicate with an owserver by
embedding owshell code.
As for the DS2413, I'm not clear about your question. Can you explain?

Hi,
I have two questions...
Has anyone ever interfaced Puredata with OWFS or OWNet? I am looking for
a Puredata-External... If not, I would make one, is anyone else here
interested in PD?
The other thing is: I'd like to switch the PIO-Pins of a DS2413 without
putting another 2413 up that is polled again and again, is there another
possibility?
