Hi Guys,
While trying get everything auto starting at boot time on my Debian LXDE box
I think I've encountered an issue where owfs does not show any sensor nodes
on start-up when owserver is start with an alias file defined.
I gave up at about 2:30 AM but I think the test case is this:
In one terminal I run
owserver --foreground --LINK /dev/ttyUSB0 -a /etc/ow-alias.txt
In another terminal I run
owfs --foreground -m /owfs -s 192.168.1.4:4304
Then when I do a: ls /owfs I just get the system entries but no sensors.
However if I do a: owdir I see the sensors
If I stop both and restart owserver without the: "-a /etc/ow-alias.txt" I
get all the 42.xxxxxxxxx entries.
When I shifted the "-a /etc/ow-alias.txt" to the owfs and owhttpd (I tried
that also) things seemed to be more consistent on start-up in that I got to
see the sensor nodes in /owfs/.
I'll try a few other combinations to be sure but maybe this is an issue that
others may have encountered.
Alex
