Good question. It seems I wasn't then. I found the counter field.
(Now.) I must have noticed it then, and ignored it. Since the chip
only counts when the input lines are held to a logic low, and
typically works with either a reed switch or a type of switch also
associated with magnetic tape read/write heads.... I have more work
ahead of me in selecting the right ones.....
Incidentally quoting from the page:
"counters.ALL    19134429, 19134464
 counters.A      19134429
 counters.B      19134464"

That's what I saw on both a Google Chrome Window here, and on a
browser on the local Linux system.
