Hi Robert, Sorry no experience of long runs yet, several other things have been taking my time. I have 3 pi's now and over the last couple of days I have got them all running and talking to each other. My longer term plan is to split my 1-wire network so the important sensor are duplicated. Any two of the three pi's could then run the system and the third one monitors the other two.
I will be running more tests, longer term. I'll keep you updated. Interestingly this is to replace my existing Ubuntu server running on old PC hardware. That seems to run reliably for weeks then I loose some sensors and eventually the server crashes, power cycle and it is OK again. Never been able to find out what causes it, hopefully the pi's will be better.
