Hello, I have been looking at the simulation mode of owfs if this might be useful as a unit test for my software.
Well basically it's not because a constant value is not what one usually gets from real world sensors. Currently I'm testing using fake mode which is only somewhat annoying because of the unpredictable sensor ID's. A more useful simulation mode would read/write its values from/to an ascii file or even better from an external process using popen.
