Hi, is it possible to specify an own 1-Wire device in owfs?
We used an electronic thermostat with an open firmware OpenHR20 and implemented 1-Wire to an unused processor pin. The Device correctly appears in the owfs directory (and of course the webinterface). At the moment we use the family-address 0x11, which is not defined by dallas semiconductors. Is it possible to define a schema for this device family, so we can read our thermostat by "temperature" f.e. and write data to "set_temperature"? How can we read or write the scratchpad or define "commands" with owfs? Our project is documented here in german: http://www.hackerspace-bamberg.de/Cooperating_radiator_monitoring_114 -- Schinken Backspace e.V. http://hackerspace-bamberg.de mail: [email protected] xmpp: [email protected] (otr) GPG: FFB7 E40D B2DD D24C C9B7 B5C5 703C F8B8 882C 871E
