I have a HobbyBoards 6 Channel hub, which contains three DS2409's. I am
a bit confused.
According to the documentation for the DS2409, branch.0 and branch.1
determine which half, main or aux, is connected and they cannot both be
on together. When I look at mine all three channels have both bits on
together all the time.
Also the control register has possible values
1 Unconditionally off (non-conducting)
2 Unconditionally on (conducting)
3 Auto on when /main/ branch switched in
4 Auto on when /aux/ branch switched in
but if I change it to anything it immediately changes back to 2. I have
tried using the owhttpd web page and writing from command line. How do
I change it?
