Hi,

I was able to compile owfs using cygwin on windows (only a few modules
(owserver)). It seems to run but only in the cygwin shell. I wanted to know
if there is way to make it portable like the older windows installer
present on the site owfs_2.8p14 which lets you start in a standard command
window. additionally the owserver.exe generated in cygwin is significantly
smaller compared to the one in the portable version. I wanted to know if
there is any particular configure flags i need to provide to make it
portable.

changes i did to get owfs to compile
- comment out any gcc debug statements
- declare CC=/usr/bin/gcc-4.exe (needed by create process otherwise gives
access denied errors)

additionally the make install does not seem to work something related to
path issues i think

any help would be greatly appreciated.
