Yes I have used them, they seemed to work fine.  Personally I found a 
better fit to be Sheepwalk dual channel

I use one unit for each device that I control, one channel to drive it 
and the other for feedback.  As some of my valves, pumps etc. are not 
central the 8 channel was not a good fit.

One other consideration, if the program controlling it all crashes then 
the devices stay in their last state, so if the boiler is on and the 
pumps running they will stay that way until your program runs again to 
turn them off, so pay attention to that!
