Hi Paul, Sven and all who it may concern,
I have a legitimate use for --external. I use Raspberry Pis as field I/O
expanders and it mainly uses onewire. BUT I also have some local inputs
and outputs connected to GPIOs. I want these GPIOs to blend into the
owfs structure so I can easily access them.
I have tried --external and have run your example, Sven, on 3.1p0.
Still, ENOENT when accessing a configured property and crashes of the
client program (not owserver!) when accessing the sensor directory.
I'm interested to get this running and I feel able to help debugging.
Still, I don't think I can do this all on my own.
Would you help me?
