In the client, I open log window, and I stretch it out to the full screen size,
because once it crashes, it's grayed out and still visible, but no longer
interactive. I didn't see anything there that I thought was noteworthy.
You could also start the client on the commandline using
./owncloud --logfile /tmp/owncloud.log
