Personally I'm fine with people asking questions on the mailing list. As you wrote some people like - even prefer - forums, so the load on the mailing list is not as high as it used to be. I feel the same about web forums, but they can be very useful for searching for solutions/answers, so before asking, it is a good idea to search for the answer first :) > I'm on about 60 mailing lists, if these were all forums I'd spend > all of my time opening and closing web sites, logging in, etc. With > a mailing list (or newsgroup) all of my list messages arrive in one > place and I can read/ignore them all very quickly. > > I have to learn lots of different editing interfaces if I use > forums, with E-Mail (or newsgroup) I get to use the *same* editor > for every group and can thus edit/reply efficiently. -- Best regards / Med venlig hilsen Thomas Tanghus _______________________________________________ Owncloud mailing list Owncloud@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/owncloud
