I'm extremely glad with the new way of sync scheduling. To reduce networktraffic I used to change DEFAULT_REMOTE_POLL_INTERVAL into 300000. Guess I can safely revert it back to 30000. I noticed a new function, forceSyncInterval. I was just added to the repository today. Can you tell more about that one?
