Hello,

We are proud to announce the release of *Oxygen Content Fusion 8.2*, the next-generation web-based collaboration platform for content creation and review!

The new *Personal Workspace* features enhanced publication structure editing, detailed commit history, and easier branch management. From your Personal Workspace, you can selectively commit files or create targeted review tasks, integrating your changes directly or through a review process.

The *My Review Tasks* page now includes the *All My Tasks* tab. This feature consolidates all your review tasks, whether you are the owner or a reviewer, into one organized view. By default, your most recent and relevant tasks appear at the top, allowing you to quickly resume your work. This streamlined experience helps you save time, reduces the risk of missing important feedback, and ensures you always know what requires your attention next.

The integration with *Oxygen AI Positron Assistant 6.0* brings the newest Open AI GPT-4.1 (default) and GPT-5 models, improved DITA-based prompts, persistent chat and history, file attachments in AI conversations, and support for the Google Gemini and Vertex AI connectors. Custom AI actions are now easier to manage and deploy.

*Key Enhancements in Oxygen Content Fusion 8.2:*

 * *Intuitive Publication Editing*

   Effortlessly organize publications with drag-and-drop, keyboard
   shortcuts, and contextual menus. Users can add or remove topics,
   create new content, and manage DITA map properties—all from a
   single, unified interface.

 * *Change History*

   The new History tab in the Changes view allows users to track all
   project commits, review file modifications, and understand content
   evolution.

 * *Branch Management*

   Seamlessly switch, create, delete, or merge branches directly from
   the workspace, supporting your content development workflows.

 * *Selective File Commit*

   Commit only completed changes, keeping work-in-progress files
   private and ensuring that only polished content is shared with the team.

 *

   *Streamlined Review Task Creation*

   Initiate review tasks to integrate your workspace changes through a
   review process, facilitating feedback and enhancing collaboration.

With the integration of *Oxygen AI Positron Assistant 6.0*, Content Fusion 8.2 brings advanced AI capabilities to collaborative authoring:

 * *Project-level Custom AI Actions*

   Teams can now define and manage custom AI actions at the project
   level, tailoring the assistant to specific workflows and content
   requirements.

 *

   *Persistent Chat and History*

   Continue AI conversations across editors and sessions, with chat
   history preserved even after logout—ensuring seamless, ongoing
   collaboration.

 *

   *File Attachment and Contextual Assistance*

   Attach files or DITA map references to AI conversations via
   drag-and-drop or copy/paste, providing rich context for more
   relevant AI responses.

 *

   *Expanded AI Provider Support*

   Connect to Google Gemini and Vertex AI, in addition to OpenAI’s
   latest GPT-5 and GPT-4.1 models, enabling organizations to leverage
   their preferred AI platforms for content generation and editing.

 *

   *Improved Function Call Transparency*

   Instantly access details and target resources for AI-driven function
   calls, enhancing traceability and review.

 *

   *Enhanced Prompt Consistency*

   All built-in AI actions use DITA XML to create prompts, thus
   ensuring greater consistency, reusability, and accuracy.
