Have not read it so I don't know how good or bad this article is.

 

This was written in 2007 so there is probably better support in .net 4.0
now.

Subject: timezone converasion and olson database

 

Anyone have experience with converting time from utc to localtime.   It
appears that olson database is a standard but i cannot find any .net code to
use it!   

Does dotnet have this functionaility?
