AFAIK .NET 2.0 -> 3.5 inclusive are actually in the .NET 2.0 framework and
you need to install 3.5 SP1 which updates 2.0 to support 3.5. The v3.0 and
3.0 framework folders are nearly empty (3.0 doesn't even have a csc.exe I
think).

.NET4 is separate.
