Not to mention potential ongoing issues re: 32 bit vs 64 bit, etc.

 

If you don't really need a database, I think you are better off just
serializing your objects to XML.

Not done this myself recently but what about an MDB file?

 

Uneasy about what dependencies it has on other stuff being installed. I'd
still have to code a lot of raw ADO and use DataSets or readers and it would
get a bit verbose -- Greg
