Thanks for confirming that, which I suspected. There are many web pages
where people do suggest that you can mount the shares on your desktop and
give example commands, but I think these people aren't giving us the big
picture. It's a shame, as I don't want to manage a whole expensive VM just
so this legacy app can be tricked into thinking it still has a file system
