GitHub API authentication

TGIF -- I've been trying to use the https://api.github.com API to list my
repositories and their properties, but all I can get after hours of reading
and hundreds of attempts is 403 (Forbidden). Has anyone got some sample
code that talks to the GitHub API? --* Greg*
