Dear Joy
I am sure you will get many responses to your request for natural induction
methods but it like medical induction is still working either for or against
all the little understood factors which set a woman into labour and it is
these that I feel we and women need to consider.

Maturity of baby etc and as this is a precious baby (IVF) as are all baBIES
these need to be explored in the rush to get this baby out of an environment
where it is okay, thriving and this presumption that it will be better out
regardless of how it comes out is arrogant at best.

Then there are the emotional, social psychologivcal factors in this woman
which may also contribute to her holding back if the accupunture or what
ever else is suggested as a means to get her into labour is timely?

Again I suspect that the IVF status of this baby may have a negative/holding
back effect here, sure she may have needed or benfitted from medical
intervention to get pregnant but has not her body worked in holding and
nourishing this bay so why the presumption that it must be got out by an
arbitarty date??

IMHO Just some of the issues needed to be explored regardless of the
means/type of any intervention offered!
