Just one out of interest, and I realise it's not the specialty of this forum, however thought that someone may know.
Since a C-sec has recently occurred to someone close to me, I'm curious... Is the uterus still contracting during surgery, or is some form of drug administered to stop it? If it is still contracting, do they pick baby out between contractions, or it doesn't make any difference, and they get baby despite contractions occurring?
