RE: [ozmidwifery] pelvic exams

Just some language stuff. I really don’t like the term pelvic examinations or even internal examinations.. it lessens the invasiveness of the procedure… my vagina is highly private if you what to put your fingers in there there call it what it is… a vaginal examination…. When a doctor tells woman with little or no background that he is going to do a pelvic exam.. I wonder what she thinks is going to happen???
