This sounds like the classic "restless legs syndrome" that afflicts my family. I know exactly what it is like.....
For more information and a whole raft of ideas, check out the Restless Legs Foundation website:

Hope this helps,

Could any of you wonderful wise women help me? Lynley, mother of Ruby 1 Year on 8th July and 30 weeks pregnant is suffering from jumpy legs. It starts at 9pm each night just when she is ready to fall asleep. The feeling goes down the back of both legs and she has to move them. She has tried everything, from hot water bottles to baths, change of positions but nothing works. To top it off Ruby, has been a very poor sleeper and Lynley and Lincoln have only recently been enjoying 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep two or three nights a week. She is really at the end of her tether. Any advice would be very gratefully received
Thanks Sheena
