Just to let everyone know about a great series that
has just started on ch 2, it was on a few years ago and is obvioulsy doing the
re-run! Its on Mondays nights at 10.50pm [in Adelaide anyway] and it's called
'Simone de Beauvoirs Babies'.
It follows 4 women in their late 30's, all friends
from high school at the time of 'reflection' in their lives, weighing up
the losses and gains. One decides that she is going to become a mum [she is
single], and this starts a chain reaction with 2 others deciding the same. Only
one is married [but the husband has gone awol in india]. They are all polar
oppisite personalities and the series follows their individual and collective
journeys to motherhood, proof that you can be a first time mum
over 36!! [shock horror!]
A definate reccomendation!
