She can refuse. Consent must be obtained to perform a C/S.

Interesting enough I heard a very experience midwife expounding upon
this who suggested that with the current level of skills related to
vaginal birth perhaps a C/S would be safer as there are lots of experts
in C/S.

Hi all,
Nearly a year since I was last on the list. Lots of lovely babies born
and a
uni degree on the way!
I have a question tho' about women with breech babies in 2003.
If a women presents at a hospital labouring with a breech baby, does she
have the right to decline a c/section?

I understand the risks involved re experienced/inexperienced
practitioners,
but bottom line, what would happen if she refuses the c/section?
