bodgy synto? Hmm that's interesting. The hospital where i work has had an 
appalling number of pph's recently also. We were counting about 2 a week in the 
vicinity of 2-3 litres. I've never seen anything like it.
If what you say is true, then it can surely only be the active management that 
precipitates it.
