I am resending this quote as I think that it epitomises a woman centred
midwife. At first look it is scary... It's too hard..., we couldn't do it
at our work place etc.
"Midwifery calls upon you to be the best you can be: the best advocate,
guide, healer, counselor, mother, comrade, and confidant of the women seeking
your care.— Anne Frye.
I think we need to re-read it and take note that Anne says .."to be
the best you can be"- not more than you can be. That makes
