Dear Louise Feel free to contact me - 07 5450 4359 I work at a private hospital where we have midwives clinic (full antenatal visits) and also a caseload practice program running. Midwives can provide (as much as possible) continuity of care (in various ways), and there is 1-2-1 during labour and birth, all the way through for those midwives who want to do that. We have (like everywhere else) midwives who are unable to or who do not wish to stay for longer than an 8 hour shift.
