Congratulations, ABC for finally recognising and allowing others to see and hear what normal healthy pregnancy and birth is all about.
I saw the segment on the George Negus Tonight show last night where a beautiful home water birth was shown, and I cried. It was so beautiful, and I just hope others were as touched by it as I was.
It is so important for people to see how fuss free and relaxing a newborn's entry into the world can and should be. Thankyou for allowing Lois Wattis and her client to speak of their knowledge of best practice, without a 60 year old obstetrician warning us all of the 'perils' of homebirth.
