Hi Mary: A 2 vessel cord is associated with some syndromes and some kidney anomalies not all of which are problems. Have had one baby with a 2 vessel cord lovely birth centre birth no u/s during pregnancy so no suspicions prior to birth. Another mum did have u/s and 2 vessels cord was picked up along with some other heart and kidney potential problems so she did have a lovely hospital birth and baby was also just fine though watched very closely for a while. I will do a quick search in a moment, currently in between cyclone watches.
