Where I work we obtain written consent antenatally for Hep B, and discuss Vit K antenatally.  We confirm both consents before administration, but the vit K remains verbal consent.  Our Neonatal screening now comes with a consent attached, so has to be consented.  We also do newborn hearing screening which needs to be consented in writing too.
