This sounds very similar to the birth pools we use in homebirths in Perth.
We now have about 8 of them and they are always in demand. Very easy to
transport, assemble, made different sizes by removing/adding panels, lined
with disposable plastic for good infection control. I personally made 2 of
them a few years ago. I have also passed on the dimensions and method of
construction to many people. It all came from the design of a 'Dad' in
Fremantle about 20 yrs ago Good luck in your search for the right one for
you. Cheers, MM

Made from marine ply, laquered, stainless steel posts, very
easy to assemble/disassemble. Can also be made smaller by just taking out a
few panels. Let me know if you want his details.

Cheers

Tania

Subject: Re: [ozmidwifery] Birth Pool suitable for use in a small unit

Hi Justine,
Mullumbimby Hospital up north here have been successfully using a wooden
sided, easily assembled and dissembled birthing pool with liners that
are cleaned according to health and safety protocols. The ones used at
Mullumbimby were designed for the rooms, and are a bit lower and smaller
than the other pools hired out for homebirths. The woman to contact
about these is Gayle on 6684 7056.
